I get a cold rainy day, a less cold cloudy day, and a warmer bright sunny day. None have a killer hatch, but the blue wings today on the warmer sunny day are just as numerous as the cold rainy day.
These are the first browns I’ve caught in 3 days. The hatch window is short, about 12:30 to 2:30. And still, in 3 days of variable weather, not a mahogany in sight. No midges to speak of. The place remains quiet.
