Hanging On

10-28-26

A nice calm day in the Wyoming wind corridor. A calm before the storm sort of thing, 90 minutes from home into the high desert prairie. I don’t get any of the beasts that live here. Kind of get my butt kicked until late afternoon. There’s a sparse baetis hatch when I arrive this morning but it fizzles shortly after noon. I see some bobber guys hook a couple giants. Redd rapists with a “guide” from Utah. It happens here.

Pretty nice closing…or maybe not a closing? Another spectacular outing.

Still in a fairly mild pattern in these parts. Snow is staying up at elevation, heavier rains staying south, so hopefully not done yet!
